Poor Posture & Spinal Alignment

Posture is more than simply remembering to “sit up straight.” Your head, spine, and pelvis have normal structural relationships and curves designed to balance the body and distribute mechanical forces efficiently. Forward head posture, abnormal translation, loss of cervical lordosis, and other alignment changes can alter those forces—sometimes long before pain appears.

At 603 Chiropractic, we can objectively evaluate these relationships using PostureScreen, digital X-ray, and PostureRay spinal analysis when clinically appropriate. Rather than relying solely on appearance or symptoms, we can measure spinal alignment and determine whether a structural problem is present. Chiropractic and corrective-care strategies can then be tailored to improve both spinal function and, when appropriate, the underlying postural mechanics.
