Meet Dr. Pratt

Dr. Ryan J. Pratt is a Nashua native and the owner of 603 Chiropractic. After graduating from Life University College of Chiropractic in Marietta, Georgia, he returned to New Hampshire and has now been helping people in his hometown community for more than a decade.

Dr. Pratt was drawn to chiropractic because of its proactive, non-invasive approach to health and its focus on helping the body move, function, and adapt as well as possible. His favorite part of being a chiropractor is helping people return to the activities they love, educating them about how their bodies work, and helping them gain a clearer understanding of what is happening, why it is happening, and what they can do about it.

His approach goes beyond temporarily relieving symptoms or simply making something “crack.” Dr. Pratt looks closely at spinal structure, joint motion, posture, biomechanics, nervous-system function, and the physical demands of each patient’s life. When clinically appropriate, he uses in-house digital X-rays, computerized PostureRay analysis, digital posture assessment, surface electromyography (SEMG), and heart rate variability (HRV) to gather objective information about patients’ structure and function, and help them clearly understand their findings.

Dr. Pratt’s structural and corrective approach has been strongly influenced by Chiropractic BioPhysics principles. He also recognizes that every patient is different and that care should be tailored to the individual rather than based on a one-size-fits-all plan. Care recommendations at 603 Chiropractic are always based on two things: the examination findings and the patient’s individual goals. Depending on the person, care may incorporate hands-on chiropractic adjustments, corrective exercises, rehabilitation, spinal decompression, soft-tissue treatment, focused shockwave therapy, or other non-invasive approaches.

Dr. Pratt also brings years of personal experience with weight training, wrestling, running, mountain biking, and other forms of exercise to his work with active patients. This background gives him a practical understanding of athletic movement, training demands, and the common mobility and stability problems experienced by athletes and recreational gym-goers. When appropriate, he incorporates principles from the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), along with Integrative Muscle and Joint Therapy and other movement-based techniques, to help identify and address restrictions affecting performance and function.

As a solo practitioner, Dr. Pratt personally oversees every aspect of care. He takes pride in providing a private, one-on-one experience where patients feel heard, understand the purpose behind their care, and actively participate in the process. His goal is not simply to help people feel better for the moment, but to help them move better, function better, and build a healthier, more resilient body for the future.

Outside the office, Ryan is an avid drummer who has performed and recorded with his band and currently plays on the worship team at his church. He and his wife, Rachel, love taking advantage of everything New Hampshire has to offer. Depending on the weekend, you might find them hiking, camping, mountain biking, playing disc golf, visiting a local craft brewery, or relaxing with their dog, Casey, at one of their many favorite spots up North.
