Spinal Corrective Exercises

An adjustment can restore motion to a restricted joint, but many structural and postural problems require more than adjustments alone. Corrective exercises are designed to reinforce better movement patterns, strengthen areas that need additional support, and help address postural or structural abnormalities identified during your examination.

Depending on your individual findings, we may incorporate targeted strengthening, mobility work, cervical exercises, traction, and other Chiropractic BioPhysics® (CBP®)-informed corrective strategies. CBP is an evidence-informed approach to chiropractic care that places particular emphasis on objectively evaluating posture and spinal alignment and using specific exercises, adjustments, and corrective methods to address abnormal biomechanics when appropriate.

The goal is to create changes that carry beyond the adjusting table. The adjustment helps restore motion; corrective exercise helps your body strengthen, stabilize, and better support the improvements we’re working toward.
